This issue opens with two interviews given, respectively, by the President of the Authority for the Competition and the Market, Professor Antonio Catricalà and the Deputy DG of the LUISS University, Professor Giovanni Lo Storto.
The “identity theft”, growing and changing phenomenon, with always more discomforting implications, is, instead, the topic addressed in the Forum and analyzed in depth by two articles that focus on its modalities and the techniques to counteract it.
As for “domestic” issues we propose: a contribution on the money laundering legislation in force; an analysis of the so called “red terrorism” – painful pages of our recent history – and a close look at the present position of the Prosecutor within the national legal order. For the “international” articles we propose: an editorial presentation on“ethical finance” and “Islamic finance”, such as emerging investment strategies; the scenario assessment on the evolution of relations between Europe, Russia and the US, the new triangle of geopolitics and, lastly, an analysis of the strategic role of the Sultanate of Oman, the sentry of the Gulf.
In the Columns section, certain “Archive documents” that take us back to a theft of identity of long ago; an anecdote about the failure of the “Operation Condor”; a review of a book dedicated to the history of the British Security Service MI5, as well as a “study” of Intelligence on Islamic extremism in the British correctional institutions, and for the chronology on Organized Crime, the “excellent” arrests of 2009.
In closing, a doctrinaire “excursus” dedicated to the origin of the constituent power, and three interesting examples of new and modern Constitutions.
